Hi all.

I've just re-watched 'Duet' and was wondering if there were any stories out there that dealt with what might have happened if McKay and Cadman hadn't been able to split and continued living.

Any pairing is fine, but preferably a good long fic that is set over many years. Does this exit?

Hey, all - I was wondering if you could help me collect a particular trope that I enjoy and have now seen often enough to start trying to tag.

In this trope, John and Rodney feel so connected to Atlantis that they begin to feel out-of-place or uncomfortable on Earth.

This could be a not-so-simple adjustment (John keeps on walking into doors on earth because the darned things refuse to OPEN ON THEIR OWN in Bang) or more complex (in Zugzswang, the Team is homesick for the Pegasus galaxy, feeling at loose ends after Atlantis lands in LA.)  There is also a fic where John keeps moving in front of Elizabeth as she attempts to talk to the SGC officials, because something in him is saying offfworld, and dangerous... he no longer sees earth as home, nor the SGC as safe.  There are stories also where they lose contact with earth, are *forced* to adapt, and then regain contact and are not so happy about it...   And all of these stories seem to focus on the friendship/solidarity/codependency the Lanteans feel towards one another after going through so much together.

I could swear I've asked this before, but I must have been hallucinating because I can't find it here.  (If someone knows of the search and can link it, I would be embarrassed yet also grateful.  I have spent some time looking for it, myself.)

As many as you can recall that fit this trope would be excellent, as I am trying to gather fics I may have read already that ought to be tagged 'earthisnothome'.

I've just got an e-reader for christmas, so as I have no money to buy e-books yet I was wondering if it would be possible to ask for help finding fics that I can read on my reader (I think it's PDF files but I'm really new to this.)

So, are there any McShep, long and with happy endings, detailing how they fell in love. In interesting ways ie. John realises he loves Rodney when he see's Rodney gush over some sience thing in pure geek fashion, or Rodney realises that he wants to be with John forever in the middle of a startrek marathon while they banter. Stories that highlight their friendship and how it leads into love.

Or maybe some good friendship banter fics.

Any that are able to load onto my new e-reader will be loved forever.

I've read a lot of stories recently where Jim supports Blair financially and also where after The Sentinel by Blair Sandburg Blair's in trouble 'cause he has to pay off all those student loans and what not.

I want a story where Blair is independently wealthy. I'd prefer stories set after TSbyBS where he can truly just tell everyone to stuff it, but I'll take basically any story where this factor features. Slash and Gen only if it's a must!read.
